Printing to DocFinity creates an unalterable TIFF image of the print data stream, making online, electronic color photo management easy. The product allows users to index the document before storing it into DocFinity. The indexing screen provides all the efficiencies of automatic validation and indexing. Print To DocFinity also remembers the size and location of the window as you last left it, eliminating any setup time with each use.

Indexing a File with Print To DocFinity
Windows treats Print To DocFinity as a printer. Users can send documents to it from an application’s Print menu, in the same way that they would send the document to a physical printer or fax machine. Any document that can be printed can be indexed by Print To DocFinity. Users simply select Print To DocFinity as the printer.
How It Works
When a user selects Print To DocFinity, the user is asked to provide indexing metadata for the document according to a pre-selected indexing scheme. Print To DocFinity converts the document into an image file and indexes it with the metadata that was entered.
You can use Print To DocFinity to index multiple files at the same time—Print To DocFinity will ask you to enter indexing meta-data for each document separately in turn.
