Optical Image Technology Clients Speak at EDUCAUSE and ISOTech Conferences
Palm Beach Community College and Panhandle Insurance Highlight Technology Achievements
State College, PA – October 7, 2008 – Optical Image Technology (OIT) is pleased to announce that two clients’ innovative technology solutions are being highlighted at national conferences this fall. Palm Beach Community College and Panhandle Farmers Mutual Insurance Company will present on topics that showcase their efficiency gains and the improved services resulting from implementations of electronic document management and other technologies.
Chuck Zettler, Director of Information Technology Project Management at Palm Beach Community College, will address administrators and IT staff at the EDUCAUSE Conference on October 29th in a session entitled Implementing Electronic Document Management in a Community College Setting: Recommendations for Success. He will demonstrate how the institution improved student services and disaster recovery measures by transitioning from paper-based to electronic processes using OIT’s DocFinity® imaging, desktop scanning, and business process improvement products. The conference will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Art Meadows, President and CEO of Panhandle Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, will give a presentation entitled Making Paperless Processing a Reality -- Using technology to increase efficiency and enhance customer service during the ISOTech insurance conference in Las Vegas on November 10th. He will share practical tips and lessons learned at his company, which is now 95% paperless as a result of integrating DocFinity document management and Town and Country INS PRO insurance processing system software.
